Welcome to Middle School STREAM
Middle School STREAM is a hands-on, project-based course where students explore Science, Technology, Reading & Writing, Engineering, Art, and Math through guided, two-week projects. Each project follows a clear routine that includes building, creating, testing, reflecting, and sharing. Students work both independently and in groups while learning how to stay organized, manage materials, and reflect on their learning. Weekly handouts, daily journals, progress photos, and end-of-rotation Canva posters help students document their work and growth over time. STREAM emphasizes creativity, problem-solving, collaboration, and responsibility in a structured environment designed specifically for middle school learners.
STREAM Rotation Documentation
In STREAM class, students will document their work using weekly handouts, daily journals, and a Canva rotation poster created at the end of each rotation.
This system helps students stay organized, reflect on their learning, and show progress over time.
Daily Class Routine (Very Important)
Each class period follows the same structure:
1. Work Time

-
Return supplies properly
-
-
Clean-up must be finished before journaling begins
3. Daily Journal Time (Last 8 Minutes of Class)

Progress Photos (Twice Per Week)
Students will take progress photos 2 times per week.
-

-
Their project
-
Any changes or improvements
-
-
Photos will later be used in the Canva rotation poster
The teacher will tell students which days are photo days.
